As an applicant to a counseling program, my experience within a global social impact agency has taught me invaluable lessons in communication and leadership. Through spearheading a revamp of internal communications and facilitating workshops on inclusivity and equity, I learned the importance of fostering a supportive environment for individuals to thrive. Analyzing staff surveys and leading onboarding initiatives highlighted the significance of understanding and addressing the diverse needs of others, reinforcing my commitment to promoting well-being and inclusivity in counseling practice.

During a period of significant growth, I managed day-to-day newsroom operations, overseeing small aspects like managing digital licenses to larger projects like spearheading the onboarding process for new hires. Working in editorial, I provided essential administrative support to the senior editorial and art teams, including research assistance, website traffic analysis, and trainings. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage complex projects, support team members, research, and analyze data effectively, all of which are essential skills in counseling practice.
