What I learned
@ Purpose

As an applicant to a counseling program, my experience within a global social impact agency has taught me invaluable lessons in communication and leadership. Through spearheading a revamp of internal communications and facilitating workshops on inclusivity and equity, I learned the importance of fostering a supportive environment for individuals to thrive. Analyzing staff surveys and leading onboarding initiatives highlighted the significance of understanding and addressing the diverse needs of others, reinforcing my commitment to promoting well-being and inclusivity in counseling practice.

  • Oversaw day-to-day operations of a newsroom during a period of 50% growth.

    • Manage editorial team’s digital licenses & subscriptions (e.g. Adobe Creative, Google Workspace)

    • Shepherd in new platforms and trainings for reporting team (managing newsroom IT&tech)

My role as an Editorial Operations Coordinator at The Real Deal honed my organizational acumen. During a period of significant growth, I managed day-to-day newsroom operations, overseeing small aspects like managing digital licenses to larger projects like spearheading the onboarding process for new hires. Working in editorial, I provided essential administrative support to the senior editorial and art teams, including research assistance, website traffic analysis, and trainings. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage complex projects, support team members, research, and analyze data effectively, all of which are essential skills in counseling practice.

  • Support onboarding of new restaurants to Grubhub, managing the quality control of 50+ accounts per week.

  • Proofread and edited content for GrubHub, Seamless, and MenuPages â—‹ Adhered to company style guide and the AP Stylebook

  • Updated web content on multiple proprietary platforms



My role as  a Data Operations Associate at Grubhub's HQ served as my first step into the professional world after graduation, providing a foundational understanding of operational intricacies and the importance of collaborative teamwork, along with perfecting my attention to detail and adaptability.

Managing the quality control of 50+ restaurant accounts weekly and supporting their onboarding process instilled in me a strong sense of organization and client services. Additionally, proofreading and editing content for various platforms showcased my meticulousness and adherence to company guidelines. Working within a dynamic, start-up environment exposed me to the intricacies of larger organizations and taught me valuable lessons in navigating change with resilience. .
